Panasonic TC-L22X2 22-Inch 720p LCD HDTV With Ipod Dock Review

This Panasonic 22 inch LCD HDTV with iPod dock produces 720p high-definition images.    It includes a universal dock for the Apple iPod which allows the user to control or play music directly from the iPod or iPhone through the TV.     The product also has a 24P playback function for stunning imagery from 24 frame movies on DVD or Blu-ray disc. In addition there is a game mode for faster image response in 3D games.    The user can also play slideshows of JPEG images stored on SD memory cards thanks to the VIERA Image Viewer feature. Another VIERA feature, the Link
feature, allows you to control a variety of components (e.g. Blu-ray disc players, digital cameras) through a single remote.    This model's improved power consumption and also meets stringent Energy Star 4.0 requirements.

Pros:    Many users are more than happy with both the sharpness of the images, and the image resolution.    The price of this product is a definite plus, its many high quality features at such a low price appeals to many consumers.    The TV functions very well as a large digital picture frame and it has a built-in SD card slot and a random slide-show feature. The screen may also be used as a high quality computer monitor.

The TV is very easy to set up, and it is lightweight, meaning that it is very easy to wall mount.    Cons:    Lots of users complain about the sound from the unit. Many feel that the sound output is too low and produces low quality sound. Some say that the volume has to be at its highest setting for it to be adequate.    Some users complain about the position of the sockets for the cables, which are at the back of the TV. When the TV is wall-mounted, this causes the cables to be bent at a 90 degree angle, which really isn't ideal.    Most agree that the picture quality is good, but believe that other TVs offer better images. Though it is claimed that the TV can be viewed from a wide angle, some users complained about the quality of the images when viewed from an angle.

Although most users appreciate the iPod dock, some have said that there is only limited use of the iPod's features when it's connected to the TV. For example it has been claimed that that you cannot use this product to view Hulu Plus OR Netflix video streaming without purchasing a separate cable adapter.    So, if you are looking for 22 inch TV that gives crisp clear images, and allows you to use your iPod, at a reasonable cost, this may be the one for you. But, if you want high power sound output, it's probably better that you keep looking. For more information go to our Panasonic TC-L22X2 22-Inch HDTV Review
